Terms of Service

1. The service

Buntu Hosting provides ready-made website designs customised with your content, together with hosting, SSL and backups as described in your chosen plan.

Each plan includes the pages, features and content updates listed on our pricing page. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately before work starts.

2. Orders and payment

Your order is confirmed once PayFast confirms your payment. Monthly plans are billed automatically every month from the date of your first payment.

All plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contract; cancel with 30 days' notice, with one final month's fee as the cancellation fee. Website Ownership is a once-off build fee plus a separate monthly hosting and maintenance fee.

3. Turnaround

Our target is 24 hours after payment is confirmed and all required content is received. Delays in receiving your content, domain transfers, third-party services or custom requests may extend this.

4. Your content

You confirm you have the rights to the logos, photos and text you send us. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your content.

5. Domains

Domains are registered in your business's name where possible. Domain registration and renewal fees are billed separately from your plan.

6. Ownership and licensing

On monthly plans, the website design and code are licensed to you for as long as your plan is active. Your own content always remains yours.

On the Website Ownership plan, the agreed website files and rights transfer to you once the build fee is paid, as set out in your order confirmation. Hosting is not included free forever; the monthly hosting fee applies until you cancel or migrate.

7. Missed payments

Missed payments are handled under our Cancellation & Suspension Policy.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care to keep your website available and backed up, but we're not liable for indirect losses or outages caused by third-party providers.
